To maximize your chances of being cast, we encourage you to:

  • Thoroughly review and follow all provided instructions. This demonstrates your professionalism and ability to follow direction.

  • Submit your audition early. Early submissions often set the standard for a role. Strong early auditions may be offered the role quickly, limiting opportunities for later submissions.

  • Feel free to audition for multiple roles. Please send separate emails for each character you're interested in.

Project Overview:

We are thrilled to announce casting for our upcoming micro-budget film, "A Wonderful Lie" This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of an exciting project that explores unique narratives and showcases diverse talent.

 

Production Dates:

April 6th -12th, 2025

 

Location: Las Vegas, NV

 

Compensation:

All roles are paid, with a pay range from $50 to $100 per day.  

 

Travel and Lodging:

Select roles are open to non-local talent. We are willing to fly in talent from out of state upon a successful audition and will provide lodging.

 

Auditioning from a Distance:

For roles that do not provide travel or lodging, if you are not local but wish to audition, you will be considered as auditioning locally. In such instances, candidates are responsible for making their own travel and lodging arrangements. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Video Audition Requirements:

  • Slate: Begin your video audition with a clear slate. This slate must include:

    • Your full name

    • The character you are reading for

    • Your phone number

    • Your current location

  • Travel and Lodging Confirmation:

    • If you are auditioning for a role that does not offer travel and lodging, please verbally confirm in your slate that you understand and accept that, if cast, you will be responsible for your own travel and lodging arrangements. For example, you can say, "I understand that if cast in this role, I am responsible for my own travel and lodging."

  • YouTube Upload: Upload your audition video to YouTube as an UNLISTED link.

    • How to upload as UNLISTED:

      • Upload your video to YouTube as usual.

      • In the "Visibility" settings, select "Unlisted."

      • This means only those with the link can view your video.

  • Submission: Send the UNLISTED YouTube link in your audition email.

  • Headshot/Current Picture: Please attach an updated headshot or a current picture to your submission email.

 

Additional Information:

  • If a role offers travel and lodging accommodations, this will be explicitly stated in the role breakdown. Otherwise, you will be responsible for your own travel and lodging.

  • Early Submission Advantage: Please note that submitting your audition early is highly recommended. Early submissions often set the benchmark for the role, and strong early auditions may be offered the role directly. Therefore, waiting until the deadline may significantly reduce your chances.

1. Prepare Your Audition

  • Record Your Scene: * Use the provided sides (script excerpts).

    • Have a reader off-camera to deliver the other lines.

    • Start with a Slate: Clearly state the following at the beginning of your video:

      • Your Full Name

      • Your Contact Information (Phone Number and Email Address)

      • Your City and State

      • The Role You Are Auditioning For

  • Keep it Simple: Use a clean, neutral background. No need to recreate the scene – just focus on your performance! (Refer to the tutorial video if you need guidance.)

3. Submit Your Audition

  • Email: Send the unlisted YouTube link to TPNCasting@gmail.com.

  • Subject Line: Write only the name of the character you are auditioning for in the subject line.

    • Example: "Audition for [Character Name]"

  • Important Note: We can only accept YouTube links. Auditions in other formats will be deleted.

  • March 15th at 5:00 PM PST - Don't wait until the last minute! Submitting early gives you the best chance of being seen.

When Rebecca disappears, he becomes the prime suspect, forcing him to fight for his innocence. Though he loves Rebecca, he’s blindsided by her manipulations and grapples with guilt. Detective Craig Bullock (Supporting, Open Ethnicity, Male, 40s - 50s): Detective Bullock is a no-nonsense lead investigator initially convinced Paul is guilty. Methodical and thorough, he shifts focus as new evidence emerges, ultimately unraveling Rebecca’s scheme. Seeking an actor with gravitas who can portray both an intimidating authority figure and a sharp-minded investigator. PAY RATE $100 A DAY (5 DAYS).

 

Diane Monroe (Supporting, African American, Female, Late 30s - Early 40s): Diane is Rebecca’s estranged sister, sharing a physical resemblance.
